Prentice's Established and Licensed Auctioneers Since 1891

Never Been To An Auction?

Prentice and Pike only sell to purchasers who are 'registered bidders'.

About 1 hour prior to start time of Auction please 'sign in' and obtain a bidding number to become a 'registered bidder'. Unlike some Auctions where a fee is charged to obtain a Bidding Number, no such fee is charged by Prentice and Pike.

You will be asked to present 2 pieces of ID (for example, a valid drivers licence, birth certificate or government ID card), with your name and address.

Once you have your Bidding Number you will raise this as the Auctioneer asks for bids on the item you wish to purchase. If you are the highest/successful bidder you will present your Bidding Number to the Auctioneer or Clerk. The item then becomes your property to protect, however, the item must not be removed from the grounds until after payment is made to the cashier.

All items sold are subject to applicable taxes. See this sample of the "Bidding Number". We accept cash VISA or MasterCard.
